Al Nassr is open to loaning Napoli target Jhon Duran

Napoli have made a formal offer to sign Jhon Durán from Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, less than six months after the Colombian striker’s move from Aston Villa. 

The 21-year-old forward, who joined Al Nassr for a reported €77 million in January 2025, has impressed with eight goals in 12 appearances this season. 

Despite his strong performances, Al Nassr appear open to loaning Durán back to Europe, possibly to help him regain stability amid reported personal challenges affecting his mental health.

Napoli are not the only European club interested in Durán; Turkish side Fenerbahçe, managed by José Mourinho, have also submitted an offer. 

Napoli’s interest in the striker dates back to before his transfer to Saudi Arabia, and they are now keen to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new season.

Durán’s contract with Al Nassr reportedly includes a net salary of around €10 million per year.
