Antonio Conte

Two Serie A clubs want Conte as their next manager

Napoli is facing a serious fight to keep Antonio Conte as their manager beyond this season as he looks to win the Serie A title.

Conte returned to a Serie A bench as the manager of the Partenopei at the start of this season, making them one of the best teams in Europe.

Napoli is in a serious title race alongside Inter Milan and Atalanta, and Conte is set to win the crown with a third Italian team, which will be a superb achievement.

He wanted to become the Juventus manager in the summer, but Il Bianconero made Thiago Motta their coach instead, a decision they probably regret now.

Several reports suggest Motta could be replaced when the season ends, and a report on Tuttomercatoweb claims Juve wants Conte to return to their bench.

They are not the only Serie A club keen on the manager, with the report adding that AC Milan also sees him as an ideal replacement for struggling Sergio Conceicao.

Both clubs will fight to make him their next manager, but Napoli wants him to stay. We expect them to make him honour his long-term deal, especially if he wins the Scudetto, which is very likely as his team keeps winning games.
